Shalakya Tantra (ENT, Dentistry, and Ophthalmology)

The Department of Shalakya Tantra at NRI Institute of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences & Arnav Hospital offers specialized training in ENT, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, and diseases of the head. Students receive comprehensive instruction in Ayurvedic treatments, including management of conditions such as sinusitis, migraines, and various eye diseases, where Ayurvedic methods have proven effective.

Shalakya Tantra also provides specialized Ayurvedic treatments for chronic conditions like migraines, sinusitis, and eye diseases. Notable success has been seen in the treatment of conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy, as well as ancient Ayurvedic surgical techniques for cataracts, which continue to be relevant today.

To promote the study and application of Ayurvedic methods for treating conditions related to the eyes (Netra), nose (Nasa), ears (Karna), oral health (Mukharoga), and head (Shiroroga).

To master Ayurvedic Kriyakalpas such as Tarpana, Putapaka, Anjana, and Pariseka for effective treatments.

To focus on research-driven education and hands-on training in Kriyakalpas, Nasya Karma, and other Ayurvedic procedures.
